The set includes a Leica III in black\/nickel, a Leitz 50mm f3.5 Elmar in nickel, lens cap and case. Very interesting set as the condition is extremely good. Most of these nickel sets show quite some signs on the nickel parts and also on the black paint finish but this one is in close to perfect condition. Some very small signs make it less as like new and that is something we hardly use for a camera which is over 90 years old. Other dealers however probably would rate it as mint - like new or even like new. Some small marks are visible on the top plate near the Leica engraving. Technically the camera is in top condition. Speeding times are accurate. Finder is bright and clean and the curtain doesn't show any problems.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Leitz 50mm f3.5 Elmar lens is also in top condition. A bit of haze is visible but for sure not bad for a 90 year old lens. Lens focuses smooth and diaphragm works fine. The aperture blades do not show any signs of oil. The tube looks very nice and only some very small scratches are visible. On the pictures you see some dirt on the inside of the front ring but that has been cleaned.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInteresting is that both the lens (serial number 204593) and the camera are from 1934 and as this set comes from a collection of an older quy we are quite sure these items we sold together in 1934.
