Of course you are welcome to visit us. Meetings by appointment only. Coffee is ready and we are pleased to take enough time for you to assure you make the right decision.

You can e-mail us 7 days a week 24h a day. We're online from 07:00 - 23:00 CET and try to reply within short notice.

Shipping

Yes, we ship internationally. We ship worldwide except to countries where sanctions or restrictions apply due to legal regulations.

All items will be shipped from the Netherlands (European Union).

Orders over Euro 500 are shipped free of cost. For orders less as Euro 500 we charge a fixed shipping fee based on your location.

Delivery within the Netherlands normally in 1 day, Europe in 1-2 days and outside of Europe 1-3 days. Delays due to customs (shipments out of the European Union) might occur and are beyond our control.

Shipments are normally delivered within 1-3 days. In case it needs to be delivered sooner please contact us via info@schouten-select.com so we can discuss what alternatives we can offer.

Unfortunately, we have no influence on the time your package will be delivered. Alternatively, we can have your package delivered to an UPS Access Point so you can pick it up at the time of your choice.

Customs might charge you for tax, dusties and/or custom fees for packages which are shipped out of the European Union. We have no influence on this and custom fees are always on the buyers account.

Yes we can only ship to physical addresses. In general UPS and DHL do not deliver to PO Boxes. We can ship the package to an UPS Access Point so you can collect it there at the time of your choice.

When you have the idea the package is lost please contact us immediately to sort things out. You can reach us via info@schouten-select.com.

Please also contact the carrier in your country to speed up the process. Of course we will contact the carrier as well but at the end of the day they will forward the claim to the destination country which can cause a delay.

Orders & Payments

Yes, we accept phone order. When you like to order via phone please give us a call at 035-6090208.

We will process the order for you via phone and will discuss the payment options for you.

Please send an e-mail to info@schouten-select.com with a detailed description of the problems you’ve encountered. Please include as much information as possible (if possible including a a screenshot) and the the address you would like your item(s) to be shipped to so we can process the order for you. Of course you can also contact us by phone via 035-6090208.

You can pay via bank transfer, credit card (American Express, Visa Card and MasterCard) and PayPal. Dutch customers can pay via Ideal as well. For more details please check our Payment options page.

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you registered with on our website. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please check your spam folder.

After that, we will process your order. You will receive and an e-mail with tracking information.

When you want to change or cancel the order please contact u immediately after placing the order.

We normally process orders within business hours so only when not processed we can make changes to it.

We do not have a minimum order amount. All orders, whether it is an order of Euro 50 or Euro 20,000, will be accepted and taken care of.

When you are in the European Union and you have a valid VAT number you can buy inventory without VAT when it is sold withe full VAT. For this you need to fill in the VAT number of your company at the order form.

For customers out of the European Union and who want to collect the items first need to pay the full amount. After declaration at customs and sending back all the required information we will refund the VAT to you.

Customers who live out of the European Union and have their purchases shipped will automatically buy without VAT.

Condition / Warranty

All items, unless otherwise stated, are checked before listing them on the website. Digital cameras are of course checked for dead pixels. We do not test analog cameras with film.

We have a conservative rating system and items are rated from Brand New to E- and everything in between. At the rating box you see a More link. For more information how and what ratings we use please check that link. Further detailed information will be given in the description box.

On used equipment we offer, unless otherwise specified, a 1 year warranty. Brand new items are offered with a 2 year warranty.

Sell & Trade

Yes, besides selling our own equipment we also buy your equipment. When you have something for sale please fill out the Want to Sell / Trade form. Give as much information as possible. Also please send detailed pictures so we can have a good look at your camera equipment. Alternatively you can also send an e-mail to info@schouten-select.com or call us at 035-6090208.

Yes, we also can sell your items on commission. Whether this is interesting or not also depends on what you have exactly. Please fill out the Want to Sell / Trade form. Give as much information as possible. Also please send detailed pictures so we can have a good look at your camera equipment. Yes, we also buy complete collections. Not all collections will be interesting for us but please fill out the Want to Sell / Trade form. Give as much information as possible. Also please send some general pictures so we can have a first look at your camera equipment. Alternatively you can also send an e-mail to info@schouten-select.com or call us at 035-6090208.

We mainly sell Leica, Leitz, Hasselblad, Rolleiflex, Robot but also have interest in interesting items from other brands.

Once we made a deal to buy your items you will be paid within 3 working days via bank transfer. Alternatively you also can get a store credit.

For items we sell on commission you will be paid via bank transfer after 14 days of delivery of the item to the customer.
