Zeiss Ikon

Zeiss Ikon, a camera brand by Carl Zeiss, was founded in 1926 after merging several manufacturers, including Contessa-Nettel, Ernemann, and Ica. Known for precision engineering and high-quality optics, Zeiss Ikon cameras earned a strong reputation among photographers. The Contax series became iconic for its advanced features and superb lenses. Production ended in the 1970s, but Zeiss Ikon cameras remain highly collectible. They are still respected for their craftsmanship and optical excellence.
