Robot was a German company founded in 1934 by Otto Berning, known for its clockwork-powered cameras. It initially specialized in motorized amateur cameras using spring motors, like the Robot 35 series. These cameras used 35mm film in formats like 24 × 24 mm, 18 × 24 mm, and 24 × 36 mm, with models like the Robot 24, Robot 36 and Robot Recorder. Robot cameras were celebrated for their precision and innovation, continuing production until the 1996 release of the limited edition "Star Classic". Another interesting model was the OS-35-F which was used by intelligence services.
