For sale is an extremely rare prototype lens: Leitz 50mm f2.8 Elmarit. Probably everybody knows the normal 3rd version Leitz 50mm f2 Summicron lenses but this is not a Summicron but a f2.8 Elmarit lens!!! Although the barrel looks the same the design is completely different. It not only is a f2.8 lens with a different formula but also has 15 instead of 10 aperture blades!
